After a decade of hosting events, I started to think that networking was outdated. LinkedIn is great, but the algorithms control everything. We're meant to be more connected than ever, but making friends is getting harder. And remote working made people like me isolated.
So I went solo-travelling, where I made friends with people from around the world and knew it was time to reinvent human connection back at home.
And that's when I came up with the idea for Sync. A social community for dreamers, doers and the ones building something from nothing. A space where you can seek your next connection.

Sync is a social community for founders, creatives, freelancers, influencers, entrepreneurs or professionals who cares about human connection and want to meet people IRL.
We run local syncups where members and non-members can meet, chat and make connections. All our syncups are available to book on the website or app.
Yes, it's free to join. Our events are pay as you go - so you can sync as much as you want. We do have a paid membership plan available which starts from £33 per month, but this is optional.
Membership is great for anyone who wants early access to our syncups, socials and special member-only events. Members also get the Sync app to find, connect and message other members, plus a load of other great benefits like member discounts, perks, podcasts and so much more.

Sync was created for founders, creatives, freelancers, influencers, entrepreneurs or professionals who cares about human connection, authenticity and energy. It's not about job titles. It's about mindset. However, we’re not for everyone. If someone joins and doesn't follow our community values, we reserve the right to refund and remove them. It’s rare – but we take our vibes seriously.
It costs £30 per person (inc. VAT). Our events run from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Pizza is included. Drinks are often available to purchase on the night or included in the ticket price (although the ticket price may be slightly higher). This varies depending on the event, so make sure you check in advance.
Syncups are relaxed, social and designed for you to meet like-minded people IRL and build authentic relationships and friendships. There's usually music, drinks and of course, pizza. There's no structure. No pitches. Just a great group of people, chatting and making new connections.
If you're coming for the first time, your Sync host will put you at ease and introduce you to someone (usually a member) who will explain how it all works. Honeslty you've got nothing to worry about.
Just remember our events have a strict no company branded uniform, polos or shirts. When you come to a Sync event, you're coming as you... not a business. If you remember that, you'll be fine.
